Why should you bank you stem cells?.

If you menstruate, you might be able to save a life with your menstrual blood derived stem cells.

How does it work?

  1. At-home collection

We start by collecting a menstrual blood sample from you via our at-home collection kit.

2. Cell Viability:

We then determine if your menstrual blood has enough viable stem cells to bank (most of us do! yay!)

3. Bank your cells:

We will then ping you to let you know that you are able to bank, and you have the authority to have Muse Bio keep those cells safe for when you need them.

We make it easy for you.

Traditionally, to procure stem cells from an adult requires super invasive and painful surgeries. Or, you know, giving birth.

Both of which are a pretty big commitment.

But now, with the growing body of scientific evidence, we know for sure, that it is possible to procure these valuable life-saving cells from our very own menstrual blood.

With our at-home collection kit, we are working to make it possible to collect those valuable cells of yours, so if you (or a family member) might need them one day, they are there for you to use.

Stem cells are used to treat numerous diseases.

Stem cells have been known as a treatment since the 1970’s. We’ve known their incredible potential for a while now. But getting to these cells has always been a bit tricky.

Stem cells are used therapeutically for blood cancer patients, sports injuries, autoimmune diseases, spinal cord injuries, burn wounds, lung protection, tissue regeneration, cosmepharmecueticals and longevity.

Right now, there are clinical trials using menstrual blood derived stem cells (MenSCs) to treat long-COVID patients, infertility, diabetes, liver cirrhosis and pneumonia.

This is just the start, and medical science takes a while (gotta make sure its safe, ya know?) but these initial clinical studies have shown that MenSCs are safe. And it opens the door for so many other disease treatments to be explored.

Part of our mission is to be able to supply these much needed MenSCs to the researchers doing this important work, as to fast track these discoveries.

We want to flood the system with MenSCs so we find treatments and therapies faster, using cells that are that much easier to access.
